Marketing Program Coordinator Kris Humes Program Description Marketing is all around us. Marketing is the process of getting the goods and services from the producer to the ultimate consumer. This area is growing and changing constantly with the changing global economy, changes in technology, new discoveries, and new methods of marketing. Changes are being made everyday that will impact the future of marketing. Many marketing jobs will require bachelor’s and master’s degrees. However, many jobs will be available at every level and with varying degrees. This diversity allows many employment opportunities for the workers with competencies in the marketing field. Employment opportunities include banking, transporting, advertising, distribution, selling, buying, retailing, wholesaling, and many other areas of the business world. Marketing will benefit all people pursuing a career in business and provide a good foundation for further study. College Credits Students successfully completing the following secondary courses from VALEES certified Marketing high school programs are eligible to apply for college credit for articulated Waubonsee Community College Courses:
Applicable Degrees and Certificates Credit earned for completion of articulated courses may be used as a part of the requirements for the following certificate and degree programs a Waubonsee Community College.
